Winton Street Rebuild
After the Christchurch Earthquake in September 2010, this Winton street house sustained significant damage. The house had completely fractured and sunk into the ground leaving a rebuild the only option. Under the guidance of the home owners, we re-established the colonial house so it would withstand another 100 years.
Taking its cues from the original 1930’s character dwelling, this property exudes old-fashioned charm. It was rebuilt using the original layout but brought into the 21st century with the installation of the modern comforts of home. It features handcrafted joinery which lends the adobe with a homely feel. High ceilings and over-height doors allow beautiful flow throughout.
A classic entertainers haven, which features loads of storage, natural light and fine joinery.
